A field guide to the many sides of modern style

Style is not a wardrobe. It is the sum of small, repeated choices — what you wear, where you sit, how you rest.

Start with the uniform

Every stylish person owns a version of a uniform: three silhouettes that always work, in colours that always agree. Build that first, and everything else becomes play. A capsule of twelve pieces worn in rotation beats a closet of sixty worn in panic.

Elegance is refusal multiplied by repetition — fewer choices, made better, every day.

Style the rooms you live in

Your home dresses you as surely as your jacket does. One calm reading corner, a table kept clear, light at two heights — small interiors decisions that steady the eye and slow the morning down.

Guard the rituals

The Sunday walk, the paper notebook, the phone left in another room. Style, at its deepest, is attention — and attention needs protecting like any good fabric needs mending.
