Style moves in quiet shifts long before it shows up in shops.

Silhouettes get softer

Sharp tailoring is loosening into relaxed shoulders, wider legs and knits with room to breathe. Comfort stopped apologising and started leading the silhouette. The new sharp is soft, not sloppy.

Trends are loud; shifts are whispered.

Colour gets calmer

Neon has faded into oat, stone, moss and washed black — shades that mix without thinking. A calm palette makes getting dressed faster and outfits harder to get wrong. Quiet colours photograph better too.

Secondhand becomes first choice

Thrift rails, resale apps and clothing swaps now dress more streets than flagship stores. Buying pre-loved stopped being a compromise and became the connoisseur's route. The best-dressed person in the room is increasingly wearing someone else's past.
